Entry Dates:
Open enrollment January 1st – November 28th
Contestants must be 18 years of age or older
Sign up via www.metalmaidens.org/join-the-metal-maidens before midnight on November 28th
Entry Fees:
The entry fee for this contest is $10 per contestant.
(Please include contestants full name and email address associated with their application in a note with payment if different from applicant.)
This is a non-refundable fee.
Photos and submitting photos:
Photos must be submitted online via our website before the entry deadline of midnight on November 30th
Professional photography only!
No cellphone pictures or selfies.
No filters or over editing.
You may submit 1 - 10 images to be considered.
Images requirements:
Portrait in orientation
Format: JPG, PDF, PSD, RAW and Tiff file formats are acceptable
(JPEGS and other file formats that will not open in editing programs will not be accepted.)
IMPORTANT!
Images must have NO watermarks or © marks of any kind on them and have an accompanying photo waiver from the photographer giving us permission to print, reproduce, sell, and distribute the image used in the calendar.
Image Size:
300 dpi in resolution or higher
Approximately 10 inches tall by 8 inches wide
Photographers will be credited
Approved photographers such as our house photographer Amy Asche or Nick Luna do not need photo releases.
Image Age:
Images must be taken in the last 36 months.
Images older than 36 months (3 years) will not be considered for the calendar.
Online Voting:
Online voting will start on Date Dec 1st and end on Date Dec 3rd via our website www.metalmaidens.org
Online Voting is being hosted by an outside Third-party company.
Online Winners will be announced on Th3rd Ear Radio Metal Mondays with the Metal Maidens.
The 12 contestants with the most votes will be selected for the calendar and have a chance to compete for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes or Iron Maiden, Metal Maiden, and Maiden of the year at our annual calendar release party January 5th, 2024, at the Crypt.
Calendars and Sales:
Calendars will be available via presale starting on or before Black Friday (November 23rd) and will hopefully be available for delivery for Christmas.
Calendar release party is January 5th at the Crypt.
At the calendar release party, you will have a chance to compete for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes of Iron Maiden of the year and Metal Maiden of the year and Maiden of the year.
Prizes:
Online contest winners will receive a spot in the 2024 Metal Maidens Calendar and a chance to compete in the final round for the grand prize.
