“Let me hear you say, consent is SEXY! Consent! Consent! Consent! A night at KINK”

People came dressed in heavy coats bearing the frigid cold Colorado night to shed some layers. Inside Tracks and Reelworks the atmosphere was sensational, the staff and performers were all eager to embrace the kink community with consensual, well educated, and safe fun. In celebration of Valentine’s day weekend; Ritual Noize and Ru Entertainment Presents: KINK Denver’s largest fetish ball, a full venue takeover on February 9th, 2024 at 9pm, a 21+ event at Reelworks and Tracks Nightclub in Downtown Denver. RU Entertainment co-organizer DJ AJay Ritual have been planning KINK events with their team in Denver on this scale since 2020 and has been evolving ever since. Now with quarterly events and mini events throughout the year primarily at Exdo Event Center on Walnut street. Tracks and Reelworks nightclub hosts over 2000 participants regularly. KINK is not only about dancing and watching performers. KINK also had shopping options for your wildest fantasies. Twenty vendors spread throughout the whole venue. Now to get the full experience of KINK I highly recommend taking a walk down to eight kink tasting stations that lined the walls of the venue. 

 

Denver’s KINK boasted 20 performers. The stage was set and the night's sensual opening act featuring the nightclubs resident Mistress Isobel Devi who was accompanied by Lily Kinx of the Metal Maidens. Pure and raw demonstration of bondage, flogging, spanking,and whipping. It exemplified a trust between a Dom and Sub. A visual art that can only leave the crowd lining up at Miss Devi’s booth to experience it for themselves. Miss Isobel Devi is a professional femme domme and a connoisseur of control, discipline, and power exchange. Her command of the spaces she fills has been honed for over a decade under the guidance of America's top BDSM professionals. The following act was Rufio on the main stage with the kinkiest original dance routine. Whipped cream, fire, bondage,impact, pups and sparks. Just a little bit of everything to get your lips wet. The eroticley charged performance showcased all of the tastings of the night and had fully energetic and absolutely hypnotizing. Not knowing what to expect kept me locked on to the stage. The pyrotechnic performance brought on the rings of fire, fire swallowing, fire play. But the most unexpected was the angle grinder that Rufio put on the metal plating that he wore on the front of his outfit.

 

Hive piercing presents Full Metal Liz’s suspension act. We got an exclusive interview with Onyx and the staff while they inserted the suspension hooks into her back. The shop staff, ‘POP’s’ and Dustin the shop’s owner and veteran piercer. They made it as sanitary as they possibly could for the performer and to the highest professionalism I've experienced in a long time. The performer was calm through the whole process. While that procedure was happening Onyx, the shop’s counter staff informed us about The Hive piercing shop. The Hive specializes in piercing and some body modification. Selling high-grad jewelry such as implant grade titanium and nickel-free golds. They are able to do any piercing as long as it follows their policy. Onyx remarked, “Hive had their photo taken and has been voted best piercing shop in Colorado Springs by the Gazette and the independent... The shop has been open since 2017… this is the shop's first kink event and won’t be our last.” The press team had the best seat in the house to see the suspension hooks be inserted into her back. The process lasted all of five minutes, Liz was also surprised at how quick the team was. She was ready to go swing from the rafters of the VIP stage in the Reelworks room. Asking the Hive piercing team what they wanted to see most from tonight.  Onyx replied, “ This is my first event like this. I walked in to be surprised and not knowing what to expect… Everyone has been extremely nice and welcoming”. This is also the shop's first KINK event and second time setting someone up to be suspended. Shop links and website below.

 

Sindicate were changing outfits in the next green room and we were able ask them some questions. The local latex community group had a kink tasting booth and lounge set up in the Reelworks room near the entrance. The vac tower was the main attraction where patrons were able to get educated and experience being sealed in latex. Dami and Victoria have been following Lily Kinx for some time. Dami was also accompanied by her best friend Victoria, lovingly known as “The Chew Toy”. Lily Kinxs asked, “What got you into Latex and performing with the group?” Dami responded with, “I needed an outfit for a Kink event and latex is way cheaper than Leather. Ever since getting my first outfit I became addicted… I've been in the group for 8 years and I LOVE IT!” Victoria also answered, “I have been wearing Latex for 4 years and been in the group for about 1 year… They love the way it looks and feels.” You can find out more info on their Instagram @thesindictedenver. With 20 performers there was something happening at all times of the night in all of the rooms. You find yourself gravitating to your favorite space and hanging there all night. With over 2000 patrons making an appearance on this snowy night there were moments of tight interactions passing between rooms. The biggest room being Reelworks, it had the VIP tables around the center stage and in the SKY Lounge. With an overhead view of the VIP and Main stage. THe DJ’s made the atmosphere, they were spinning remixes of old and new pop-culture tunes with a twist all night. It was the best of both worlds. Tracks Nightclub room being the second largest room it featured a huge tv that spanned the greater of the East wall illuminating the dance floor where all the freaky people were getting down and having a real good time. The room boasted the Kink tasting of Rope suspension, photo backdrop opportunities and two bars as well. The newest edition was the remodeled 80’s goth room that hosted more vendors and another bar with minimal seating areas. The music correlated very well through the evening. Another unique space was the South smoking area that also linked Tracks and Reelworks rooms. The area was illuminated by hanging bulbous vintage esque lights that strung back and forth across the alley. This fenced off area hosted a resident food truck that has some of the best carne asada fries you've ever tasted. Even with the snow falling many people enjoyed the chance to be outside in a safe lower volume area outside of the debauchery that resided inside.

Just remember CONSENT IS SEXY!
