The Metal Maidens are proud to announce Novotny Artistry, owned and operated by Amber Novotny, as a key sponsor of the Metal Maidens 2025 calendar. Amber, who is also the current vice president of the Metal Maidens and a former calendar winner, has been an integral part of the organization for several years. She puts in a ton of work behind the scenes, such as making patches, organizing events, working the calendar table, making posters, props for photoshoots, and even the sashes for the winners.
Every year, Amber amazes the team with her embroidery, design, and sewing skills. She brings a much-needed fine art touch to the contest prizes, that are important to so many people.
Apart from her work with the Metal Maidens, Amber is a highly creative person who creates art using machine embroidery, painting on canvas, and sewing clothes and bags in her spare time.
Novotny Artistry specializes in everything from fine art to digital design, so Amber's expertise will undoubtedly take the Metal Maidens' calendar to the next level. Her artistic contributions will add a unique touch to the calendar, making it stand out from the crowd.
Additionally, Novotny Artistry's recent contributions to the Fort Collins Museum of Art's MASKS exhibit showcase Amber's skills as a fine artist. Her pieces, Memento Mori, The Efflorescence, and Galaxy Queen, were part of silent auctions to raise funds for the museum's programs.
Amber's passion for creativity has been recognized by the Library of Congress, which archived her StoryCorps interview in 2018. She has also been featured in an interview with Channel 7 News, where she shared her love for art and design.
